This Privacy Policy explains how Zuxus Business Solution Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use the ZBS e-School mobile application (package name com.zbs.school, the "App") and the website zbseschool.com.
The App is provided to schools that use the ZBS School ERP. Parents, teachers and school administrators sign in with accounts created by their school. The school decides which student and staff information is entered into the ERP; we process that information on the school's behalf to provide the service.
1. Information we collect
Information you enter
- Login details – college code, username / admission number and password. The password is sent securely to our server to sign you in; it is not stored on your device.
- Password reset details – enrollment number and one-time password (OTP) when you use "Forgot password".
- Content you submit – files, photos or form entries you choose to upload through the App (for example homework or documents).
Information provided by your school
- Student and staff profile – name, photo, class, section, enrollment / employee number and academic session.
- Linked siblings – for parent accounts, the other students linked to the same parent, so you can switch between them.
- School records – attendance, fees and payment status, homework, class work, notices, results, syllabus and similar records shown in the App.
Information collected automatically
- Session token – a sign-in token stored on your device so you stay logged in until you log out.
- Push notification token – a Firebase Cloud Messaging identifier used to send school notices to your device.
- App usage and diagnostics – Firebase Analytics collects information such as app interactions, app version, device model, operating system version and an app-instance identifier. We use it to understand how the App is used and to improve it. It is not used for advertising.
2. Device permissions

The App does not collect your location, contacts, call logs or SMS messages.
3. How we use information
- To sign you in and show the correct student or staff information.
- To display attendance, fees, homework, notices and other school records.
- To let parents switch between linked siblings.
- To send notifications from the school.
- To process fee payments through the school's payment gateway, when you choose to pay online.
- To maintain security, prevent misuse, fix problems and improve the App.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Sharing of information
We share information only as needed to provide the service:
- Your school – the school that created your account can see the records it manages.
- Google Firebase (Google LLC) – Cloud Messaging for notifications and Analytics for usage statistics. See Firebase privacy information.
- Payment providers – when you pay fees online, payment details are handled by the payment gateway used by your school. We do not store card or bank details.
- Legal requirements – where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and others.
5. Data security
All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. Access to school data is limited to authorised users of that school. When you log out, the session token and sibling list stored by the App are removed from your device.
6. Data retention
We keep account and school records for as long as your school uses the ZBS School ERP, or as required by the school's record-keeping and legal obligations. Firebase Analytics data is retained according to Google's retention settings (up to 14 months).
7. Children's privacy
The App is intended for use by parents or guardians, teachers and school staff. Student information is provided by the school. If you believe a child's information has been provided without proper consent, please contact us and we will work with the school to address it.
8. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction – contact your school or us to view or correct your information.
- Account and data deletion – email zuxushelp@gmail.com with your college code and username. We will verify the request with your school and delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except records the school is legally required to keep.
- Notifications – turn them off in your phone's settings.
- Stop using the App – log out and uninstall the App to remove its data from your device.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be announced in the App or on this website.
